报告摘要:

Abstract: Many have considered AI as a transformative force in the digital age. While we do hear about epic failures of AI, we are constantly amazed by what AI can do for us. In this presentation, I will discuss why and how statistics and AI have become far more complementary than competitive in their race toward real intelligence. We need to argue for better use of human intelligence as we embrace AI, and adherence and development of statistical principles are critical to ensure integration of machine and human intelligence.
